Teaching 1:1 is undoubtedly my favourite way to teach yoga as I get the opportunity to meet you where you are at, right now.  I offer you my deep presence during each session where we get to do, redo and sometimes undo actions, movement and breathing patterns until we figure out what it is you need from your practice.

 

The practice of yoga is known to offer a multitude of benefits, both physically, mentally and spiritually. However I would prefer it if you could experience these for yourself and turn them into tangible results, tailored to your personal needs and goals.

 

So what is the deal?

Just show up, and be open to the experience!

BREATH AWARENESS

 

"When the breath wanders, the mind also is unsteady. But when the breath is calm, the mind is so still, and the yogi reaches a long life. Therefore, one should learn to control the breath.” (Hatha Yoga Pradipika).
 

We rarely think of our breathing unless we become restricted by it. Inefficient and incorrect breathing is one of the most common habits in our daily lives, with very little knowledge of the adverse effects this may harbor, or even how to correct it.
 

Your breath is your constant, steadfast companion throughout your life.  Why not tap into this powerful life force so you can become more attuned to it and cultivate it?  I will show you a variety of practical breath awareness and regulation techniques which, when practiced regularly with sincerity, can bring about a sense of unshakeable grounding to help you through life’s most challenging times.
